ROMAN DODONOV
Director of Research Institute of Ukrainian Studies of KNU named after Taras Shevchenko, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor.
Graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University (1992), diploma with honors. He completed postgraduate studies at the Department of Philosophy and Sociology of Zaporizhzhya State University (1995), defended his candidate's thesis on the topic: "Humanization of ethnic relations as a factor in the development of freedom" (1995). In 1999, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "Social-philosophical analysis of the process of formation and functioning of ethno-mentality" at the Hryhoriy Skovoroda Institute of Philosophy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Professor (2004). He worked in teaching positions at the universities of Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Vinnytsia, Kyiv. Since 2023, he is the head of the Department of Historical Monuments and Cultural Heritage of the Research Institute of Ukrainian Studies of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. The editor-in-chief of the magazine "Ukrainoznavchii Almanakh". Under the leadership of R.O. 1 doctorate and 12 candidate theses were defended in Dodonov. Author of more than 400 scientific, educational and methodical publications.
Scientific interests: social philosophy and philosophy of history, history of philosophy, history and archeology, Ukrainian studies.
GAVRYLYUK NADIA
Deputy Director of Research Institute of Ukrainian Studies of KNU named after Taras Shevchenko, Doctor of Historical Sciences.
Graduated from the Faculty of History of the Belarusian State University (Minsk, 1973). After graduating from the university, she worked as a researcher at the Mykolaiv Museum of Local History (1973–1974), a senior laboratory assistant of the Southern Buzka and Zaporizhzhia expeditions at the Institute of Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR (1974–1975). Graduated from postgraduate studies at the Institute of Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, majoring in "Archaeology". In 1981, she defended her thesis for the degree of candidate of historical sciences, majoring in archeology, on the topic "Stucco ceramics of Steppe Scythia". In 2000, she defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Architecture on the topic "History of the economy of Stepno Scythia VI-III centuries. BC (ecological and economic aspect)"; nostrified in 2003 (Kyiv).
N. O. Havrylyuk, compiler and head of the author's collective "Dictionary-handbook of archeology" (1996), author of ceramological publications in periodicals and anthologies, member of the National expert ceramological council of the annual National competitions of publications on the topics of ceramology, pottery, ceramics in Ukraine "KeGoKe » (since 2007).
Scientific interests: Archeology and ancient history of Ukraine, ancient archeology of the Northern Black Sea region, economy of Olbia polis VI–II centuries. BC, Greco-Scythian connections, archaeological material science, methods of natural sciences in the study of molded ware, archeology of Nizhny Dnieper hillforts at the turn of the century.
